- Doing fresh install scripts is no longer the preferred way of deploying packages on Appsoma
- Building a docker image is the preferred path. This should be loaded with as many compatible installed applications as possible.
- Installing an application? If it doesn't require root, but it does depend on a database that is 5-10 GB, use #@download at run time to pull from the master source. These auto-delete after a week currently (10/15/13), but will be turned off. BUT if the installer just pulls the main program and then runs which then pulls the databases, we're back to having to write our own installers.
