The College Course & Curriculum Committee is comprised of faculty representatives from each of the departments/academic divisions in the College.
Deadlines*
April 1st, 2025:CNS priority deadline for all Course Inventory, FOS, and new degree/majors w/in an existing degree for 2026-28 undergraduate catalog.
May 31, 2025: Final deadline for all new credentials (degree programs, new majors within existing degrees, some certificates) that require approval of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) and/or Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC)
July 31, 2025: Final deadline for all other Curriculum Change Proposals

Voting Procedures
- Voting members consist of department and program representatives.
- A quorum of 60% of the voting members must be present for a vote to be valid.
- A majority of the voting members must vote yes for a proposal to pass.
- The majority is rounded up in years when there is an odd number of voting members.
- Proxies are permitted if voting members cannot be present and have already reviewed the proposals.
