Launch ALE application. “Avid Log Exchange”


Choose “Automatic” as the Input
FPS: choose the frame rate of the project the file will be imported into
Project: set to NTSC/1080/720 depending on the destination project setting
Film: 16 or 35 what was use
Output: set to ALE Choose to Clean the ALE Tracks: just keep them all selected. 


Click on the “Convert” button and then choose the .FLX file to convert.


In Mac version you will see the ALE Results like this.
The .ale file will automatically be saved to the same folder as the original .flx file was originally.
For example if you had the .flx file saved in a folder on the desktop then the newly converted .ale file will be converted and saved there automatically by Avid Log Exchange once the Convert action takes place.
