All College of Communication classrooms contain motorized teaching consoles (see below) that allow instructors to adjust the height so they may sit or stand to teach. There is room underneath the console so that someone in a wheelchair may use it comfortably.
Upper left-hand corner
The half sphere shown above in the upper left-hand corner call out has:
- Power outlet
- USB outlet that is connected to the console computer
- An Ethernet cable port
Upper right-hand corner
Highlights the document camera.
Lower left-hand corner
The call out in the lower left-hand corner shows the laptop connections.
Lower right-hand corner
The desk height can be adjusted by pressing the buttons near the lower right-hand corner of the desk.
