Options for forwarding phones to other numbers as needed:

Forward all calls straight to voicemail

  • To activate this feature:  From your desk phone line, dial 72 28886, wait for the confirmation tone, then hang up.
  • To deactivate this feature:  From your desk phone line, dial 73, wait for the confirmation tone, then hang up.

Forward all calls straight to another UT number:

  • To activate this feature:  From your desk phone line, dial 72 and 5-digit number (Example: 72+1-1234), wait for the confirmation tone, then hang up.
  • To deactivate this feature:  From your desk phone line, dial 73, wait for the confirmation tone, then hang up

Forward all calls straight to a non-UT number:

  • To activate this feature:  From your desk phone line, dial 72+9+10-digit number (Example: 72+9+512-471-1234), wait for the confirmation tone, then hang up.
  • To deactivate this feature:  From your desk phone line, dial 73, wait for the confirmation tone, then hang up.

Notes:

For more than one phone line on your set, determine if any of the other lines need to be forwarded.  If so, select the line and once you have dialtone, you would follow the same instructions above.
