Use these instructions if you want to save your Documents, Pictures, Music or Videos to Box Sync by default. These instructions take less than one minute to complete. 
While you can change the location of Downloads, it would be best to not move it to Box.

Step-by-step guide

This is an example of changing the Pictures folder, the instructions are the same for Documents, Music, etc.

  1. Open File Explorer

  2. Right click on the Folder you want to change.

    Then click on Properties.

  3. Click on the Location tab and then click on the Move button.
  4. If the folder already exists in Box, then just select it or
    If you need to create a folder, click on Box Sync from the Navigation menu and then click on New Folder, give it a name and press Enter.
  5. Confirm that the name is correct and click on the Select Folder button.
  6. Confirm that the location is correct and click OK.

    You should see a confirmation message, click Yes.

Once everything syncs, your folders will have checkmarks on them.
