Page sets will help organize field notebooks that cover large spans of geography and time. Page sets can be scanned and bundled and attached at the bottom of the page sets section. This is not always necessary, as field notebook pages is where the bulk of the attachments are stored.
If the notebook would benefit from being split into chapters, the fields are:
Start date: first date of the page set you are entering.
End date: date of the last entry of the page set.
Order Number: This is very much like chapters of a book. Put the page sets in their sequential order.
Description: Summarize the contents of the page set.
