BRING THE McCOMBS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS BRAND TO LIFE THROUGH MESSAGING, VISUAL IDENTITY, TYPOGRAPHY, COLOR, AND VOICE.

These guidelines bring together all the components you need to communicate the Texas McCombs brand. They establish guidance for visual and written communications to highlight your department’s, program’s or center’s unique value proposition and differentiation.


BRAND POSITIONING

As one of the nation’s premier business schools, Texas McCombs is an unrivaled launch pad for the ideas of enterprising thinkers and doers. Our brand manifesto, brand positioning idea, and brand personality statement offer McCombs marketers a variety of ways to express the school’s distinctive voice and image.

Over the years, the proliferation of individual logos across the school has created confusion and diluted the McCombs brand. So, as the school continues to identify new ways to strengthen its brand positioning, we have created a new logo system that offers a better user experience and is more easily recognized.

COLOR

The burnt-orange color is truly unique and distinctive, and is one of the biggest differentiators for our brand when compared to other institutions in this country and across the world

TYPOGRAPHY

Help communicate the essence of our institution: bold, progressive, dynamic, down-to-earth, enterprising and optimistic. Help ensure that our visual presence is consistent, true and inspiring for all audiences by using the selected fonts to represent our brand.

BRANDED TEMPLATES

Consistency in graphics and messaging makes it easy for people to form positive bonds with the brand. Consistency signals reliability and evidence of planning, longevity and strength, and a strong, proud tradition. Please use the available templates when possible.
