The administrators for Texas ScholarWorks may upload UT Austin authored content that is free of any copyright restrictions that would limit distribution. These are usually open access publications that are published with a CC-BY (Creative Commons Attribution) license or , are from publishers that allow PDF versions of their articles to be posted in institutional repositories, or are items that are in the public domain. Since TSW was established to provide open, online access to the scholarship of the university, we add those works to Texas ScholarWorks.
