Many of you have received an email from Google instructing you to enable two-factor authentication on your UTmail. We would like to confirm that that was not a phishing email, but instructions on implementing a new university policy. 

Information about the policy change:

The UT Austin Information Security Office has made an update to their policy to require two-factor authentication (2FA) on both Office 365 and UTmail. This policy change is targeted for full implementation by early October 2018.

What do I do?

If you have Office 365:
