If you intend to complete your Master’s degree this Spring 2020 semester, you must apply to graduate through the Graduate School online application during the application period: January 21 - April 17June 15 - July 31, 2020.
 Graduating students MUST submit their graduation application online no later than April 17thJuly 31.  Students who do not submit an application by 47/16 31 will not be eligible to graduate in Spring Summer 2020.

If you are completing a Thesis or Report, please be sure that you are registered in the correct course this semester: C E 698B Thesis; C E 398R Master’s Report; or C E 398D Departmental Report.  Details below.

Friday, May 8 August 14, 2020 BEFORE 3:00 p.m. is the due date for submitting your Thesis or Graduate/Master’s Report AND Required Printed Pages for fall graduation. Note: Departmental Report Clearance Letter is due by Dec 6August 14, 2019 to ECJ 4.210.the Graduate Coordinator (Kathy McWilliams).
·        Thesis Option (link) – Select “Thesis” when applying to graduate
·        Graduate School Report Option (link) – Select “Report” when applying to graduate
·        Departmental Report Option (link) – For departmental report select “No Thesis/No Report option”

  • Submit your Departmental Report CLEARANCE LETTER (included in above links) by May 8August 14, 3:00 p.m.

If you are completing the Coursework Only option, you must be registered for at least one class this semester if you intend to graduate in December.

IMPORTANT NOTE: BEFORE you submit your graduation application online, please fill out the attached MS Program of Work (POW) form attached and obtain your supervising professor approval signature AND return to Kathy McWilliams (ECJ 4.210). List only the courses that you want to count toward your MS degree; there should be exactly 30 hours of coursework listed (including 698A/B Thesis, 398R Master’s Report, or 398D Departmental Report for any Report of Thesis MS options – these courses should be listed under major coursework), with at least 6 hours listed under Supporting Work & reasoning included. Once your supervisor signs the form, please bring email it to the Graduate Coordinator in Room 4.200 (Kathy McWilliams) for graduate advisor approval.

Your online graduation application will NOT be approved until you submit the signed Program of Work form to the Graduate Coordinator (Velma VelaKathy McWilliams).
After your approved POW has been received, your information will be enter into your profile on the web you can apply to graduate online. When your online graduation application is approved by the graduate advisor, the electronic version of your POW will be submitted to the Graduate School and becomes a permanent part of your academic record.
