BME 197S Graduate Research Seminar

Thursdays at 3:30 PM

  • All BME PhD students during their first two semesters 
  • While registration is only required twice, students are encouraged to attend seminar throughout their time in the graduate program.

BME 197E Professional Responsibilities in Imaging

All day seminar on Tuesday or Thursday prior to the start of fall and spring semester

  • Imaging Science Fellows during Year 1 (fall + spring)
  • All first- and fourth-year BME graduate students (fall + spring).
  • Registration is optional but encouraged if you want to receive academic credit for participation. 

BME 197P Professional Development Seminar

Tuesdays at 3:30 PM

  • Imaging Science Fellows during Fall and Spring of Year 1 and Spring of Year 2
  • First-year PhD students participating in BMEntored (fall)
  • Attendance is optional for all others. 


Students who are required to register and/or attend seminars are expected to attend all sessions of that particular seminar to receive a grade of CR. If you cannot attend due to an academic conflict, please email the Graduate Program Administrator.
