In edit mode, when you click a settings category you will get a new window allowing you to change settings in that category. The General and Reports categories contains settings used to configure notifications. Below are examples of the the edit windows for General settings and Reporting settings. Configure them as you wish. If you always want to receive notification on a regular schedule to reassure yourself that things are still working, then configure a report to be sent every X number of days. If you only want to be notified when a backup issue occurs and soon as the issue is detected, then only configure alerts to be sent. You can configure both if you wish. Keep in mind that alerts will only be sent if backups were successfully initiated in the first place. We recommend that you initially configure backup reports for every few days and keep that in place until you are satisfied that backups are working as you expect. You can turn of regular reports afterward if you want or increase the reporting interval to every 30 days or longer. You should also ensure the backup report are sent to your Junk Email folder. This will esnure ensure that actual alerts don't go there either.
