If you mistakenly type a different URL or just chose to use a another URL that you find easier to remember, then the server may still be smart enough to figure out how to get you back on track. When you click this URL, one of two things will happen depending on what computer and web browser you are using.should see a webpage stating to "Select an Office 365 application."
- click on Outlook Web App (OWA)
- Put in your EID and your EID password in their corresponding fields:
- If you are using Internet Explorer on a Windows computer that is part of the McCombs domain, then your mailbox should just directly load in your web browser.
- In all other situations you will be automatically redirected to a server called fed.mccombs.utexas.edu. On this server you will either be presented with a login window or you will be presented with the option of chosing your logon account type. If prompted to chose an account, then choose "Mccombs School of Business" to proceed to the McCombs logon screen. At the logon screen enter your McCombs username in the form of {username}@mccombs.utexas.edu then enter your password and click Sign In
Your mailbox should then directly load in your web browser

is the old Mccombs OWA page. If you connect to this URL,you will be presented with the old logon page, since the server does not yet know who you are or whether or not your mailbox has been moved to office 365. Once you log in you will be given a message like the one below instructing you to go instead to http://outlook.com/owa/mccombs.utexas.edu. See the section Correct URL above for how to proceed.

These shortened URLs are the generic logon pages for Microsoft's web based email services. The first is the URL for their free public email (formerly known as Hotmail) . The second is the generic Office 365 page. If you connect to either of these URLs you will receive the standard logon page for that services. At that logon page you can still enter your McCombs username in the form of {username}@mccombs.utexas.edu. As soon as you do that the server will determine you need to log on using fed.mccombs.utexas.edu and should display a message that it is redirecting you.
