Getting a CQB Account

Access to the PODs is controlled by CQB accounts.  To access a POD you will first need to request a CQB account if you don't already have one.

A TACC account is required by the account request form.  If you don't already have a TACC account, you should   get one before proceeding.  See TACC Information for help.

To request a CQB account, go to https://rctf-account-request.icmb.utexas.edu/cqb/

Note: Access to this web site is only available from on-campus or using the UT VPN service.

Use the "New Account Request" form (button) to sign up for an account. Upon a successful submission, an account will be created on the system.  You can login later to check you resources allocation. You will not be able to access any POD resources until a POD resource manager adds your account to the relevant Pod groups.

Updating CQB Account Information

To update your account and contact information with CQB, go to https://rctf-account-request.icmb.utexas.edu/cqb/ and login.  Use the "Update contact info" form to update your account data. Except for the username and eid fields, all other fields, including passwords, in your account record can be updated. Password and name fields will propagate to your POD account on your authorized computing servers.  You can also change your passwords using the 'change password' form.
