Provides guidance and support on academic staff and faculty-related HR processes such as hiring, leaves, promotion, retirement and resignations, Workday business process approvals, and approvals for some forms including Leave Without Pay and Instructional Overload.
- evpp-approvals@austin.utexas.edu - This is the primary email address for contacting the finance contact of the Provost’s Office business affairs team for the approvals of daily operational needs i.e. (Budgets [BDL docs], OOEF’s, Purchasing Documents, Contracts, Salary Policy, Appraisal Certification, etc.) . This team primarily supports the administrative units reporting to our office as a VP, but is also used as a general contact address for certain Provost’s Office compliance questions and facilitating certain external transfers to the CSUs, and is currently also receiving inquiries as it relates to the expenditure exception process for all units, including colleges/schools, reporting to the Provost.

This email address may also assist with inquiries related to non-academic personnel reporting to the Deans.
