All LBJ School classrooms follow the standard Liberal Arts Information Technology Services classroom technology model. The computers in the rooms run both Mac OS 10.11.6 and Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. There is a VGA connection with a mini-DisplayPort adaptor and a 3.5mm headphone jack for hooking laptops up to the system. Some upgraded rooms also have HDMI connections. Each room is also equipped with a document camera for displaying physical content. These rooms have a touch panel that is used to operate all technology in the room.

Some of our classrooms are often times split in half using a partition depending on the number and size of classes each semester. The west side of these classes are consider "tech lite" and do not have a technology console. Instead, there is a wall panel that controls the projector as well as a VGA cable connection for hooking up a laptop. Adapters can be checked out from SRH 3.274 if your laptop does not have a VGA connection.

LBJ ITS also offers mobile computer carts for checkout which feature a TV, Apple Mac Mini, Logitech C930e webcam, Jabra SPEAK 510 speakerphone, and wireless keyboard and mouse. These can be used to bring guest lecturers or students in a remote location into class. Newly upgraded rooms include a webcam mounted in the front and back of the classrooms as well as microphones in the ceiling to avoid needing to use one of these carts. Currently, SRH 3.B7, 3.124, and 3.316/350 have been upgraded to include this new hardware.
