Temporary Internet Files are files saved on your computer, left there by web sites. They are stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder on your computer. These files are placed on your computer by web sites that you have visited, and are there to aid in the quick viewing of web pages. The Temporary Internet File lets the browser only download the content that has changed since you last viewed the page. Your Temporary Internet Files folder can grow quite large, and it is a good idea to delete the files in it regularly to help keep your computer running smoothly.

Temporary Internet Files can occasionally prevent you from logging in to web sites. If this happens, delete your temporary internet files.
