We follow UGS design standards on every piece that represents Undergraduate Studies to an audience outside of UGS staff. Using a defined look and feel helps us present a consistent and easily identifiable “face” to the university, prospective students, current students, and parents. This includes using only the approved font combinations, color palette, and appropriate logos. Templates for Word, InDesign, and Powerpoint are available for your use. InDesign templates are available upon request and require software and working knowledge of the software.

Color Palette

All materials that you produce should only use colors from the palette below. Use the colors below, from the Pantone (PMS) Solid Coated palette.

Some of the colors in our palette are associated with specific programs, but any program in Undergraduate Studies is welcome to use any of the colors below. Primary colors should be used as main or accent colors, and secondary colors are neutrals chosen to match well with our primary palette and to fill up “white space” in designs.

Logos

Include the School of Undergraduate Studies logo and UT Austin word mark on all materials. The circle and text together comprise the logo.

Fonts

For titles, use Gotham. Gill Sans regular is the alternative for titles if you do not have Gotham. If you want to purchase Gotham, please contact the the UGS design team.

For body copy, use Palatino or Gotham book.
