General Announcements
- A mandatory captain's meeting will be held prior to the start of playoffs for most team sports.
- Tentative brackets will be posted prior to the playoff meeting. Final brackets will be available at the start of the playoff meeting.
- A roster sweep will take place prior to the captain’s meeting. All players who did not participate in at least one pool play game will be deleted from team rosters. Captains should check the online roster the day of the playoff meeting to verify which players are eligible for the playoffs. In case of error, please submit the name, UT EID, and dates participated to the Intramural Sports email account ASAP.
Playoff Meeting Policies
- Qualifying teams will select a spot on the bracket in order of finish based on record, sportsmanship, and either score differential, set ratio, or points allowed depending on the sport.
- Teams not present at the meeting will be skipped in the selection process, and placed in the bracket at a later time.
- There are NO RESCHEDULES of playoff games. Please select carefully while looking at the entire bracket to ensure your team can participate in all scheduled games.
Playoff Game Policies
- Each captain should check the online rosters after the roster purge deadline. Only players listed on this roster are eligible to participate in the playoffs. These are the players who showed a valid ID and participated in at least one regular season pool play game.
- Teams must receive a minimum sportsmanship grade of “C” in order to advance. Teams receiving multiple “C” grades during the tournament are subject to removal.
- All players on any team receiving an “F” in sportsmanship or whose game is ended for unsporting conduct may be suspended for the entire tournament for all teams and for all sports.
- Any player ejected from any game for unsporting conduct may be suspended for the entire tournament for all teams in all sports pending a reinstatement meeting.
- Any player receiving a cumulative total of TWO unsporting conduct fouls during the playoffs (in all sports combined) will be automatically suspended from further play on any team pending a meeting with the Intramural Director. The player will be disqualified from the game at the time they receive their 2nd cumulative unsporting conduct foul.
- The Inclement Weather Website is the best place to check for weather updates. Please do not assume games will be canceled. If games are canceled due to inclement weather the team captain should check their email and the brackets posted online for the updated schedule.

Playoff Meeting Dates
Playoff meetings will take place on Zoom. Any person can represent your team at the meeting. They do not have to be a member of your roster. The link for the meeting will be sent to all qualifying teams prior to the scheduled meeting.
