- Select Preferences form the Outlook menu.
- At the Preferences window click Accounts.
- At the Accounts window click the Exchange Server button if it appears, otherwise click the + button in the lower left corner of the window and select Exchange... from the drop down menu. NOTE: If you have a previous account set up that you no longer wish to use (such as your old McCombs mailbox), you can remove it by selecting it and then clicking the - button in the lower left corner of the window.
At the next window enter your email address, enter your username as {username}@mccombs.utexas.edu. your password, check the box to Configure automatically, then click Add Account.
- You should receive a message telling you that you have been redirected to an Outlook.com server. Check Always use my response for this server and then click Allow.
- Congratulations, you are done!
