Relocating a VOIP Phone

During moves and relocating faculty and staff into offices, their VOIP phone is often moved with those people. In order to be compliant with University Policies and Safety Codes, a VOIP phone relocation request change must be sent to ITS. There are a few steps in this process.

Step 1: Capture VOIP Phone Device & Location Information

Step 2: Install the VOIP Phone in New Location per Manufacturer Instructions

Step 3: Email ITS (assignment@its.utexas.edu) the VOIP Phone Device & Location Information with the template attached
