Discounted Adobe software may be purchased online via the Liberal Arts Software License Management tool – https://utdirect.utexas.edu/apps/cola/license_mgmt/index
Licenses are only available for UT faculty or employees with an active assignment in Workday. All licenses must be assigned to an active UT Austin email address.
Departments may designate an authorized administrative staff member as their unit's license 'Requestor'.
With this tool, authorized administrative staff may:
- VIEW all current licenses and End Users (faculty/staff to whom licenses are assigned)
- PURCHASE new licenses
- REASSIGN current licenses to different End Users
- UNASSIGN current licenses when End Users no longer work for your unit
How do I access the Liberal Arts Software License Management tool?
Senior staff may designate an authorized administrative staff member as their requestor by emailing LiberalArtsITS@la.utexas.edu and provide both your UT EID and a list of the unit codes you manage (e.g. 0850000).
What are the annual service dates for these Adobe licenses?
All licenses for Adobe products are for the same annual cycle (April 1st - March 31st), but purchase requests may be made any time throughout the year. Product pricing is prorated monthly (with the price decreasing on the 1st of every month), and current pricing for all Adobe products is visible online in the Liberal Arts Software License Management tool.
NOTE: Licenses may take up to 5 business days to be received after a request is made.
