The Physics Circus is our department's main outreach program. The Physics Circus consists of anywhere from one to 10 undergraduates/graduate students who perform 30 min - 1 hour demo shows (mostly) for middle schools. The shows are often performed at the schools during the school day but are occasionally performed in the evening at "Science Nights" or on the UT campus. Jeremy Paster (paster@physics.utexas.edu) and Rick Korzekwa (korzekwa@physics.utexas.edu) are the current Outreach Coordinators for the Physics Circus.

In addition to the Physics Circus members of the department volunteer as science fair judges at local schools, the Society of Physics Students puts on an event for Explore UT each year and professors give evening lectures aimed at the general public.
