An overhead is a birds eye view drawing that shows the scene and the camera setups that will needed to provide coverage of the scene. The setups are numbered in the sequence they will be shot.
Overheads are views of the scene from directly above. It is helpful for planning and blocking camera and light positions and movement. Some cons are that they are also overly simplistic and will not help in visualizing more dynamic and sophisticated camera work.
