The apparent relative size and depth of objects within the image
*Focus Distance is the only thing that changes perspective.* To elucidate on this check out the slide Shea showed us in class. Perpective changes will warp the way images in the background look. This effect can only by attained by physically moving the camera.
A Zoom will keep the relative sizes of everything in the shot the same. The size relationships will not change.
*FOCAL LENGTH DOES NOT CHANGE PERSPECTIVE!*
A Dolly or Push will change the perspective. The sizes will also change.
THE ONLY THING THAT AFFECTS PERSPECTIVE IS THE CAMERA TO SUBJECT DISTANCE
