This is the home of the Proteomics Facility space. The Proteomics Facility provides services, self-service equipment, and collaborative research for the detection, characterization, and quantification of biomolecules. The facility labs are located in MBB 1.420 (ICMB) and PHR 1.110 (College of Pharmacy). The facility is supported by the Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas Shared Instrumentation Award RP110782 and by institutional funds provided by ICMB, UT-Austin and the College of Pharmacy as well as recharge. Announcements:
LC-MS/MS charge structure is changing to include a set up charge + hourly of approx. $150 per sample set + approx. $11 /hour instrument time to reduce the cost for larger sample sets and replicate runs and reflect costs appropriately. The new rates are expected to be approved during December, so check back for more information.
The Facility will be closed during the UT holiday break from December 23 - January 1. Samples should be submitted by Dec. 20 for digestion and LC-MS/MS prior to the break, and results will be available during the first week of January.
