In advance of the migration of Office365 email services in October, we are migrating student mailing lists to a service called Listserv. This will allow for you as list managers and Computer Services to maintain the level of service and customization we are used to with our student mailing lists. Once migrated, all existing mailing list email addresses will continue to work and forward to the new lists. Newly created mailing lists will be named in the format of listname@lists.mccombs.utexas.edu. If you're a list manager, you will be to edit your list's membership from the Listserv site. Members or subscribers to your lists will be able to update their email addresses and membership directly from the Listserv site.


Computer Services started the process of registering list managers on the new Listserv service the week of August 14th. We plan to complete migrations of of lists by September 1st.

What do I need to do?

If you are a list manager, start by registering for a Listserv account. We will follow up when your list is ready to be managed in Listserv.
