The Ricoh machines can double side and staple directly from your computer's print screen. Here are instructions on how to perform each individually, as well as combine features to do both on the same print job.

To Print Double-Sided:

1. While in the print screen, select either WIN Staff Ricoh MP C2550 or WIN Faculty Ricoh MP 4001 (whichever one shows up for you).

2. From the pull down menu, select Layout.

3. There is a pull down menu for Two-Sided. From that menu, select Long Edge Binding (for normal print jobs) or Short Edge Binding (for landscaped print jobs).

4. In the Presets pull down, select Save As and save the present as "Ricoh Double-Sided. Make sure your existing Ricoh print settings are included in this preset. Select this preset every time you want to print double-sided, and you won't have to go through these settings every time.

5. Select Print.

 

To Print a PDF Double-Sided (Preview)

Printing a PDF double-sided in Preview is much more straightforward. From the print screen, select Two-Sided (highlighted). Make sure you are using your Ricoh printing preset before you select Print. Printing a PDF from Adobe Acrobat should be able to use the above instructions.


To Print Stapled:

1. With WIN Staff Ricoh MP C2550 or WIN Faculty Ricoh MP 4001 selected, go to Printer Features in the pull down menu.


2. From the Feature Sets pull down menu, select General 3.


3. From the Staple pull down, select where you would like the staple to appear on the document. Top Left is the standard placement for most print jobs.


4. Save this preset as "Ricoh Staple." Make sure your existing Ricoh print settings are included in this preset. Select this preset every time you want to print stapled.


5. Select Print.

 

To Print Double-Sided and Stapled:

1. Follow the previous instructions on this page and combine without saving the presets.

 

2. Save the preset as "Ricoh Stapled Double-Sided." Use this preset in the future to print jobs that are both Double-Sided and Stapled.


3. Select Print.
