My password works for Samba on Macs but not Windows (or vice versa)
This can happen when your password contains certain special non-alphanumeric characters. Try changing your password so that it contains only numbers and letters.
If you have an active UT EID, you can use the RCTF Account Management application to change your password (after EID validation) using this page: Password Reset by User. See Resetting a forgotten password for instructions if you need them. If you do not have an active UT EID, please Contact Us to reset your password.
