Turn on the Sound Booth video monitor. Press the power button at the top of the monitor. |

Power light will be green when monitor is on. |

Plug in the Mic in the Sound Booth to the mic input connected to the ProTools board. |

Turn on the Digital to Analog converter that feeds the video out of ProTools to the monitors. | |

Press the power button on the Panasonic Television- this must be on to see the monitor in the sound booth. |

On the DIGI 002 press the Mute button to mute the speakers in the suite.

Turn up channel one of the DIGI002 input also make sure that the Mic/Line button is pressed in for "Mic" input. |

Click on the Apple icon in the upperright |
| |
Inside System Preferences window select the Sound icon to access the menu |
| |
Inside the Sound Menu select the Output Tab and select DigidesignHW (002) Firewire and close the window |

Place the DV/NTSC compressed QuickTime on to one of the storage drives of the computer. |

Choose the following Session Parameters |
| |
Name the session and choose where to save it |
| |
Import the QuickTime movie to chase in the ProTools project. |

The dialog will ask you where to put the newly imported Video track. Select "New Track" and click OK |
| |
To show the movie on an external monitor go to >Options>Video out FireWire |
| |
Make a new Mono (or stereo) track and title it |
| |
Create a track – click Create |
| |
Go to Setup>Playback Engine and make sure it is set to |
| |
Input and output should be set to Digidesign HW (002) |
| |
When recording audio to eliminate the headphone latency you can turn on |
| |
Go into the ProTools Menus >Windows > Show I/O view to display the I/O view on the track |

Record as needed using normal ProTools recording procedure by hitting play on the transport window while the record button is enabled. | ||
Should see input levels in ProTools I/O view. Set inputs so the levels are in the green to yellow areas. If levels are going into red then turn down input faders on Mixing Board (explained above.) |
