Mission Statement

The DNA Sequencing Facility is a non-profit serving The University of Texas at Austin research community.  Our services and instruments are as comprehensive, accessible, and affordable as possible to increase faculty, staff, and student research productivity.

Objectives

Under the direction of Dr. Mike Wilson, the Director of the Genomic Sequencing and Analysis Facility (GSAF), the primary objectives of the DSF are outreach and education.  As opposed to being an anonymous resource, we aim to engage and build relationships with faculty, staff, and students that can benefit from our expertise.  We want to help the The University of Texas at Austin research community achieve their research goals.
