Facilities Services supports and maintains The University of Texas at Austin's physical environment. The Business Applications Team working alongside Technology Resources (TRecs) facilitates Facilities Services' efforts by managing and administering various information systems.

Our responsibilities include:

  • Providing internal and external user support
  • Administering system configurations and role authorizations
  • Developing, maintaining, and publishing documentation
  • Facilitating process improvement
  • Providing training and training support for internal and external users

  • Ensuring integrity and improving accuracy of data and sources
  • Managing enhancement and implementation projects
  • Providing support for Facilities Services’ data analysis
  • Participating in FAMIS Alignment and Cost-Recovery Team (FACT). FACT has been commissioned to ensure the full cost of management and operations is captured and we are able to report on these total costs by building.

Mission Statement

The mission is to provide support, documentation, training, project management, and client services for FAMIS, WORQS, and other software application systems.
