Probationary Employees
New, classified employees are considered probationary employees for the first 180 days of university employment as part of the selection and hiring process.

- Basic Navigation in Workday: video, 2 minutes and 28 seconds
- Dynamics of Diversity: Requirement for certificate completion: 11 of 13 core classes; two optional courses

- Staff Tuition Assistance Program (STAP) - Formerly the Staff Educational Benefit. Covers tuition for full-time (40 hour) employees with 12 months’ continuous service for one UT Austin course per semester. To take advantage of the benefit, employees must be regularly admitted to the University. Waivers of admissions fees may be available. Please note that Graduate courses are considered taxable income.
