Use of Compass in Designs
You can use the compass image alone (with no text) as a spirit mark in your designs as we transition to the new UT logo system. Often times this will mean using it ghosted back (opaque) as a watermark.
Do not use it to replace a letter or part of one. Designs/logos that utilize the shape or outline of the compass or superimpose other words or elements on top of it are not acceptable.
The compass should always be secondary to the college, school, unit (CSU) or student group logo/words.
As a secondary mark, the compass must be smaller than the primary logo on the piece.The compass may not be the focus of the piece. Its placement must be in a less prominent location than the primary logo or message.

All materials that you produce should only use colors from the palette below. Use the colors below, from the Pantone (PMS) Solid Coated palette.
