What's New in Quest?
January 2021
Instructors:
- Online testing via learning modules in test mode
- Exam dashboard offers one place to look for all your testing happenings!
- Students are now able to change their test responses (within time)
- Dynamic countdown timer on timed tests displayed
- Proctoring overlay for online assessments
- SSD time accommodations able to be granted
- Hybrid tests including (manually graded) essay questions able to be administered
- Distance learning support
- Evening and weekend support when online tests conducting (otherwise, 9-6pm M-F)
- Matrix style free response questions
- Security and Performance upgrades
- More modern layout and design (and ability to hop back if you don't like it)

Quest is open between 9am-5:30pm M-F, and someone is keeping an eye on the helpline (questhelp@austin.utexas.edu) during most evening tests. We will do our best to accommodate other support availability requests made at least 7 days in advance.
