Changes from 2022-2023 to 2023-2024

  • New Authorized Representatives must attend Authorized Representative Orientation. Returning Authorized Representative must pass quiz over the Handbook. 
  • Purchase Request System
  • Upload of Receipts: Clubs will be required to upload the receipt or invoice for reach purchase to their original purchase request. 
  • ACP Program:
    • Allocation will no longer be tied to ACP. ACP will be to keep your sponsorship with Recreational Sports.
    • Clubs are responsible for completing all Essential Categories and two recommended categories. There are 5 recommended categories to choose from.
    • Advisor Meetings: Clubs are required to meet on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis with their Sport Club Advisor based on their activity level for each semester.
    • There are no longer ACP Deadlines for Forms - only a final deadline.
      • All clubs will be required to submit an expense report at the end of the year.
    • Clubs are no longer permitted to submit individual community service hours or one-off canned food drives. There needs to be at least 8 members or 20% of your roster. 
    • Clubs are required to complete 5 Sports Activities (competitions, demos, etc.) per year. 
    • We added a recommended category for Cross-Club Support. 
  • Discipline Process: Clubs may receive disciplinary sanction for missing receipts.
  • Film & Photos on Campus Process: Any photos or film on campus must be approved prior to the event. Please allow the Sport Club Office at least two weeks for photos, and a month for video. 
  • Minor Release & Identification Agreement (Waiver) Updated: Please review the new form and use when events have been approved through Youth Protection Program. 
  • Weapons Agreement - The individual weapons agreement is now imbedded in the membership packet for those who are required to complete it. The organization still needs to complete the Special Event Form when necessary.
